Campbell Brickley began dancing at a young age with a particular focus in Scottish Highland dance. She has competed all across the country and in Scotland for Highland dance. Her most notable achievements include representing the Southwest Region at the ScotDance USA National Championships in 2018, 2019, and 2022. In addition to Highland, she has also studied various other forms of dance for many years. Throughout her timewith BDC, she has traveled to Dallas, TX to perform at high schools and Asheville, NC to perform at the Asheville Fringe Arts Festival to perform But Where There’s Hope, There’s Life. She has also performed other works with BDC including Sierra and, most recently, A Journey of Hope.
Maddie Calvez was a soloist in But Where There’s Hope, There’s Life which was performed at the Asheville Fringe Festival and was created into a site specific work in high schools in the Dallas area. She recently traveled to California to attend and perform at the ACDA National Conference. Following graduation from Texas A&M University with a degree in dance, Madison will be applying for a Masters in Dance Movement Therapy where she hopes to pursue dance for Parkinson’s.
Abby Dang began her dance training at St. Saviour’s School of Dance in Greenwich, Connecticut. Upon moving to College Station in 2014, Abby continued her training at Suzanne’s School of Dance where she had the opportunity to perform at Dance Revolution and Project Dance New York. Abby performance experience includes Brazos Dance Collective, Mei/co Dance Company, and Abundance Dance Company. Abby joined BDC in 2020 and has been involved in several BDC's works including But where there's hope, there's life, as a soloist in Sierra, and A Journey of Hope.
Terra Fiedler began dancing at four years old and continued on to dance competitively with multiple studios until college. Terra also had the privilege of leading her high school dance team as Lt. Colonel and Colonel, earning the title of Danceline National Champions in 2019. As a BDC company members for the past four years, she has had the opportunity to perform in many BDC's works, including But Where There’s Hope, There’s Life, Sierra, and most recently, A Journey of Hope. Terra has attended and performed at the American College Dance Association’s regional and national festivals, and she has also had the privilege of presenting her own choreography for adjudication at ACDA’s regional festival in 2023. Terra has taught at multiple studios throughout Texas, and is on staff for MA Dance. Terra is also a choreographer and continues to explore her passion presenting her work in festivals across Texas.
Cally Hall began dancing at a young age in Cedar Park, Texas. She completed most of her training at Cedar Park Dance Company, where she has also worked as a teaching assistant and substitute teacher for dancers of all ages, before moving to College Station. She continued her training at Texas A&M University where she will be graduating with a B.S. in Kinesiology: Dance Science. She hopes to attend physical therapy school and work on incorporating dance science and injury prevention for dancers into healthcare. Cally has performed around the country, in Texas, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, and Arizona. She has worked with prolific artists such as Jose Soto, Jackie Nowicki, Cat Cogliandro, Andrew Winghart, and more. In her collegiate dance career, she has traveled to Ireland to attend the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science Annual Conference, performed and presented research at the American College Dance Association annual conference, performed at the Asheville Fringe Festival.
Eliza Milner began her dance journey at the age of 2 in Fort Worth, TX. At 14 she began training with MovZ Dance Company in Keller, TX where she competed at regional and national competitions throughout the country. In 2016 she began teaching classes at multiple locations of the studio throughout the DFW area. She has been fortunate enough to work with choreographers like Jeremy Arnold, Aiesha Ashby, Chris Jacobsen, Caroline Lewis Jones, and Nick Zbrowski. Eliza joined BDC in 2020 and has performed in works such as Sierra and as a soloist for But where there’s hope, there’s life and Boxed In. In Summer of 2022 she traveled to North Carolina and attended the American Dance Festival on scholarship and worked in residency with Monique Haley and trained with artists like Rosanna Tavarez, Ramon Flowers, Joy Davis and Jessie Young. She has also performed with artist Joe Svihel, “Lost and Found”. She has performed and presented works at regional conferences like ACDA and TAHPERD for adjudication. Eliza will be moving to New York to continue her passion for choreography and performance while she pursues her degree in physical therapy.
Annie Rabel started dancing when she was 2 ½ years old in Columbus, Ohio. She has danced at summer dance intensives including the Texas Ballet Theatre and the Joffrey Ballet School. She has taught ballet and modern dance for ages 3-16 years old at Dancer’s Workshop in Austin, TX. She has performed in The Nutcracker in the roles of snowflake, icicle, rat corps, parent at the ball, flower corps, lead angel, as a soloist in Spanish. Annie has performed in BDC's But where there's hope, there's life and most recently in A Journey of Hope.
Grace Rogers has spent 18 years studying ballet, modern, and contemporary dance. Grace has been in many different performances including Perpetual Motion at Texas A&M (2022, 2024), Southeastern Regional Dance America Festival (2016 - 2021), and The Nutcracker with the Appalachian Ballet Company (2012- 2021). She has performed in the Nutcracker as Shepherdess, Snow Corps, Waltz of the Flowers Corps, and Russian. She has also performed in Cinderella as the step sister and Peter in the Wolf as Pirate. She has also attended numerous summer intensives including Atlanta Ballet, Ballet Arizona, Commercial Dance Intensive, Ballet Austin, and the National Choreography Intensive. She has taught ballet, tap, and jazz at Van Metre School of Dance.
Brenna Street began dancing at age two and danced competitively under Ashley Armstrong, Katie and Ronald Samaniego, Carrie Sellars, and Maryelle Stephenson. Throughout her time with BDC she has had the opportunity to perform multiple roles in But Where There’s Hope, There’s Life where she performed at the 2023 Fringe Festival in Asheville North Carolina, Sierra, and, A Journey of Hope. Brenna has attended and performed at the American College Dance Association’s regional festivals, where she also had the privilege of presenting her choreography at ACDA’s regional festival in 2023. Brenna has a love for choreography and was a part of producing multiple shows and hopes to continue choreographing for other companies and studios in the future.
Karis Taylor started her dance training at a young age in the United States, studying various genres of dance. She later moved overseas and studied Vaganova Technique. She performed at the United Nations celebration of the Treaty of Rome in Erbil, Kurdistan in 2017 as well as choreographed and performed in studio performances. She joined BDC in 2023 and will be performing her first work with the company this spring in, A Journey of Hope.
Melanie Wills began her dance training at the age of two at the Patti Parrish School of Dance in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Soon after, Melanie began her competitive dance journey with her first solo at age of five. At age 10, she performed in The Nutcracker ballet as Clara and joined the South Tulsa Dance Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a member of their senior company, Thrive. While training at STDC, she worked with many renowned instructors/choreographers including Troy Herring, Cory Barnette, Molly Long, Jason Parsons, Chantel Aguirre, Nick Meola, Billy Bell, Derrick Schrader, Timmy Blankenship, Yi Wang, and Madalina Stoica. During her competitive dance career, Melanie won numerous awards at both the Regional and National level in many genres of dance including Contemporary, Ballet, and Jazz. Melanie has has performed throughout the US including performances in Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Arizona, Arkansas, Missouri, and Tennessee. Melanie cherishes the art of dance and all it has taught her, and she hopes her performances inspire others to begin their own artistic pursuit.
